We've all heard it too many times; another child has found their way into a backyard pool, our first reaction is to blame someone for not paying attention. However the fact is children are extremely resourceful and will unknowingly put themselves in harms way. Greg and Tammy Cantor of Kings & Associates Realty have a goal: to reduce the number of Phoenix valley water related incidents involving children. We are proud to introduce the “Greg & Tammy Cantor Swim Safe Program”.
We believe that in order to prevent children from drowning, we must teach them basic water safety skills. That is why we have teamed up with the Southwest Valley Regional YMCA and will provide eight 30-minute beginners swim lessons. As of 11/08 we have trained 350 children, If you would like to join us with your suppoport and sponsorship your donations are appreciated and needed to help fund this program for all 930 plus Litchfield Park School District kindergarteners and continue on in the years ahead.
Joining us in our efforts, Litchfield Park District Superintendent, Dr. Julianne Lein, will provide transportation for all the students of Litchfield Park School District. Lessons will be provided during school hours, teachers partnering with the YMCA will also include water safety as part of their class work prior to participating in the program. Our next class starts 09//08, Be Part Of The Solution.
